By the governments and the systems that bent
All the backs of the folk to labour discontent

With greed as the goal of the Neo -liberalism
And the corporate capitol with their short - sighted vision, short sighted vision

If that has ever been a thing in our history
Every person, every being on this globe

We got to hold that hope like a new - born child
Open our eyes and refuse this denial
Of the existential threats and the tyranny
And the suffering within the broken regimes
